YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- During the height of the pandemic, the Yankton Health Board met weekly, to watch the numbers and give input and direction to the city commission.

Despite a rise in Delta variant infection numbers, City Manager Amy Leon says there are no plans to restart those meetings.

Leon says circumstances have changed since the spring.

Leon says people can make their own decisions on how to protect themselves.

Leon says restarting the health board meetings would be a decision for the mayor and city commission.
