YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – In school classes ended abruptly in mid-March for most students in South Dakota due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most districts then used a combination of remote and online learning.
Yankton School Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they are planning on returning to a normal schedule in August.
Kindle says they will work with parents to provide some alternatives.
Kindle says its difficult to find an acceptable compromise.
Kindle says they know there will be some catch up work to be done with many students.
