YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – A Yankton legislator isn’t sure the state is getting the return it should from the Governors Office of Economic Development.

Democratic Representative Ryan Cwach says the legislature increased funding for the agency last year.

Cwach says the concern is not new.

Cwach says he has heard similar comments from other lawmakers.

The Governors Office of Economic Development works directly with companies in the state that want to expand and out of state companies interested in relocating.
