YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Yankton School Board got their first official look at the proposed budget for next year.

Business Manager Jason Bietz says a big increase in state aid will be noticeable.

Bietz says they are setting a preliminary general fund number.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle gave the board a warning of possible funding issues with special education.

The board set the official budget hearing for their July meeting.
