Yankton School Superintendent reacts to approval of new land for childhood education center

YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX) – The Yankton School Board approval of a twelve-acre land purchase is the first step in the development of the early childhood education center.

Superintendent Wayne Kindle says they have a committee working on details.

Kindle says they are hoping to get bids by early next year.

Kindle says it will be a one of a kind facility.

The building will house classes for Pre-K, Junior-K and Kindergarten students. The school district will spend about six hundred thousand dollars for the land in the northeast part of the city.
