YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) – The Yankton water treatment plant has been broken into and vandalized, at least twice.

City Manager Amy Leon says police do have information and are investigating.

Leon says it was mostly minor damage.

Leon says they have stepped up security at the site.

Construction is continuing on the $30 million upgrade and expansion to the water treatment plant.
