Road near Waubay closed to local traffic following Friday rain

WAUBAY, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The City of Waubay is requesting that only local traffic use Lakeshore Drive following a downpour of rain Friday morning. Bryan Anderson, Day County Emergency Manager and 911 Coordinator, talked about the area of concern. He said the area was inundated with rain in a short amount of time.

BROOKINGS, S.D. (KJJQ) – A three-year-old girl is dead and two Brookings residents are facing charges.
