Tornado touched down near Bruce, SD late Saturday afternoon

BROOKINGS COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) — A severe thunderstorm produced a tornado that touched down in a rural area near Bruce, SD or eight miles south of Estelline moving north. A tornado was also reported in South Deuel County.

Pierre Airport looking ahead to the next EAS contract

Emerald Ash Borer still lingering in South Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- Little by little, the Emerald Ash Borer is leaving its mark in the region. The bugs are killing ash trees. City Urban forestry Specialist Brian Peterson says property owners need to consider their options. Peterson says the city recently cut down a dead ash tree in Sherman Park that was heavily infested.
