Small fire at Super China Buffet in Pierre Monday night

PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- The Pierre Fire Department has released additional information on a small structure fire in a Pierre restaurant Monday night.  Fire Chief Ian Paul says dark smoke and some fire was visible when firefighters arrived on scene shortly after 7PM. Bomb threat detected in Mitchell

MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- The Davison County Public Safety Center in Mitchell was evacuated due to a bomb threat this morning.  Mitchell police and fire personnel were called to the scene just before 9 AM.  The incident disrupted court proceedings that were scheduled for this morning.  More details are expected to be released later today.

SD Dept of Health reports no new COVID-19 deaths Tuesday

PIERRE, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The state reported no new COVID-related deaths, while active cases & hospitalizations increased, according to figures released by the South Dakota Department of Health. Army Corps of Engineers provide update on Missouri River spring runoff

OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The Corps of Engineers has the Missouri River reservoirs ready for spring runoff. Mike Swenson with the Corps office in Omaha says they hit their flood storage levels.
