2nd Ave SE & S Lincoln Str intersection closed Wednesday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Beginning at approximately 8am Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, the following intersection will be closed to thru traffic for street repair: 2nd Ave. SE & S. Lincoln St. The intersection will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.

City Councilman Alan Johnson talks about the first one dealing with unexpected expenses. Johnson addressed the second one dealing with funding for Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department. Aberdeen City Council approved both budget requests on unanimous votes.
