Large number of job openings despite record total unemployment claims

PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Over 23,000 workers now have continuing claims for unemployment benefits in South Dakota. Despite that, Labor & Regulation Department Secretary Marcia Hultman says there are still a large number of job openings. Hultman says her department can help unemployed workers find another job.
