Mitchell looking for new Corn Palace director

MITCHELL, S.D. (KMIT) – The search is on for a new director of Mitchell’s Corn Palace. Mitchell Mayor Bob Everson talked about the position. Former Corn Palace Director Scott Schmidt resigned last month to take a teaching position at Dakota Wesleyan University.

First vaping-related illnesses confirmed in South Dakota

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) – The first vaping-related illnesses have been confirmed in South Dakota – two of them in young adults, both East River. State Epidemilogoist Joshua Clayton says they follow the national pattern.   Clayton says the sickness looks like something else at first.
