PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota lawmakers are gearing up to examine the state’s property tax valuation system. Valuations are on the rise, taking property taxes higher. State House Majority Leader Will Mortenson was among the lawmakers pushing for the study. The study committee will begin its work in a couple of weeks.
