ABERDEEN, S.D.(Press Release)- Weather permitting beginning at approximately 8:00 AM on Monday, June 14, 2021, the following intersection will be closed due for reconstruction.   15th Avenue NE & North Dakota Street Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.   Work is expected to last 3-4 weeks and will be completed as quickly as possible.

Changes in Clay County Jail & Courthouse coming following bond rejection

VERMILLION, S.D.(WNAX)- Changes in operations of the Clay County Jail in Vermillion happened quickly following the rejection of a forty one million dollar bond issue by voters this week. SD Dept of Health reports no new COVID-19 related deaths

PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio.com) – The state reported no new COVID-related deaths, while active cases & hospitalizations decreased, according to figures released by the South Dakota Department of Health. 34-year-old Ashley Peltier charged with murder in the death of James Rice

RAPID CITY, S.D.(KOTA)- The victim of a June 8 stabbing incident in Rapid City – 30 year-old James Rice – has died, and the individual believed responsible has seen charges upgraded to second degree murder.
