PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX & DRGNews)-  South Dakota wrapped up the fiscal year with a surplus of almost eighty-six million dollars. State revenues were up sixty-two million dollars, and about twenty-four million dollars that was budgeted was not spent. PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio.com) – The state reported 1 new COVID-related death, while active cases  & hospitalizations increased through Tuesday, according to figures released by the South Dakota Department of Health. Executive Director Nick Wendell says their priority is an increase in the per student allocation. Based on their projected enrollment, that would be an increase of over $660,000.
