Tornado confirmed near Tabor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KMIT)- Severe storms popped up throughout the region during the Independence Day holiday on Monday into Tuesday.  Amanda Penning with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls said one tornado was confirmed. Cooler temperatures are expected for the rest of the week.

Parts of the northern U.S. seeing impacts of fires from Canada
