Economy in Mid America region continues to show signs of slow growth

OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The economy in the Mid America region continues to grow, but slowly. Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss compiles the monthly survey. Goss says companies are still looking for and hiring workers. Goss says inflation continues to be noticeable. The Mid America region extends from Minnesota and the Dakotas to Arkansas.

Director of the Corn Palace expect more visitors this year compared to last year

MITCHELL, S.D.(KMIT)- The Memorial Day weekend kicks off the summer travel and tourism season.  Mitchell Corn Palace Director Doug Greenway says they are expecting a good summer. He says numbers are already increasing. Greenway says Mitchell’s visitors come from all over the world. Around a half million people visit the Corn Palace each year.

Attorney General Jackley react to Minnesota passing recreational marijuana

The Minnesota legislature passed a bill legalizing recreational marijuana which will become law as soon as Governor Tim Walz signs it.
